What's new on Netflix and what's leaving in December 2023

August 2024 · 4 minute read

December is the last month of the year to get movies out in time to make an Oscar push, and this year, Netflix‘s big contender is Maestro, a biopic of Leonard Bernstein starring Bradley Cooper, who also directed the film. It’s not the only big original film coming this month. Netflix also has Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon — Part One: A Child of Fire and the animated sequel, Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget.

There are also several Warner Bros. movies coming to Netflix in December, especially from the superhero catalog including titles like Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and The Suicide Squad. Additionally, this year’s second biggest box office hit, The Super Mario Bros. Movie, is making its Netflix debut on December 3.

Fans are likely to be very happy this month, but you can see for yourself below in our roundup of everything new on Netflix in December 2023, as well as everything that’s leaving at the end of the month. Our picks for the month are in bold.
